Onda Pro FAQ
How is Onda Pro different from CoolSculpting?+
CoolSculpting freezes fat cells using suction applicators (cryolipolysis). The Onda Pro takes the opposite approach — targeted Coolwaves® microwave energy gently heats and disrupts fat cells while contact cooling protects the skin. There's no suction, treatments are typically faster, and because the energy also stimulates collagen, Onda Pro tightens skin and smooths cellulite in the same session — something fat freezing doesn't address.
Does it hurt?+
Most patients describe a warming sensation with brief moments of heat, kept comfortable by the device's integrated skin cooling. No anesthesia or numbing is needed, and you can return to normal activities — including exercise — immediately afterward.
How many sessions will I need?+
Most treatment plans involve a series of sessions spaced about four weeks apart — that's why our packages are built around four treatments. Your provider will recommend a specific plan for your goals and treatment areas at your consultation.
When will I see results?+
The body clears treated fat cells gradually, so results develop over 4–12 weeks after treatment, with continued improvement as your series progresses. Skin tightening effects build as new collagen forms.
Am I a good candidate?+
